Number of holding companies grows due to tax burden
Source: Accountantweek In 15 years, the number doubled in the Netherlands to 94,520. The number of holding companies in the Netherlands is growing rapidly. Figures from BoldData show that 12,695 new holding companies were registered with the Chamber of Commerce last year. That is a growth of sixteen percent. This brings the number of active holding companies to 94,520 (last year 80,735). Eleven of these holdings are owned by a foreign organization.
