Introducing…

My name is Jos Alma. I was born 44 years ago in Uden. I grew up in tiny Vorstenbosch and live in beautiful Veghel with wife Aukje, daughter Emma, son Thomas, dog Bo and cat Kevin. A true Brabander, in other words.

Klaartje van Eck and I recently became part of this wonderful company. With passion and enthusiasm, I will start working in the role of Risk Manager at Tripolis Business Support. I do this alongside my role as advisor and co-owner at Eskes & Partners Assurantie Adviseurs B.V. Our office is located in Mook. The northernmost tip of Limburg. I would like to briefly introduce myself to you.

I studied at the HBO 'Financial Management' in Arnhem. After earning my MBA and SPD business administration degree, a future within accountancy was the logical thing to do. However, things turned out differently. After wandering around in various positions at several hospitality companies, I ended up at ASR. Within their payroll organisation "De VerzekeringsUnie", I took my first steps into the wonderful world of insurance. However, I soon found out that large organisations like ASR did not suit me and after a year I made the switch to the free intermediary. In 2009, I landed in Mook as outside sales advisor for their business clients. In 2014, together with Dolf Rikken and Aart van de Bovenkamp, I bought out the founder of our firm, Marius Eskes. The rest is history.

If I had to describe myself business-wise in a short pitch, I would call myself a "nightmare creator ". I interpret risk. I prefer to do this for entrepreneurs with a real passion for their profession and an eye for results, without losing sight of "people". Often, only those risks are interpreted for which an insurance solution can be found, because that is where the business is for the insurance intermediary. By taking entrepreneurs by the hand to discuss all risks, including those that cannot be insured, I create clarity for entrepreneurs. Then they no longer have to lie awake at night worrying about it, a night's sleep creator, in other words 😊.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing a round of golf. We love good food and casiness around us, so it is often a sweet spot at our place during the weekend. We are very active with the kids in our local carnival club. Furthermore, I am also the proud co-organiser and one of the initiators of the Fight Cancer Night. We organise an annual kickboxing event where 16 entrepreneurs literally battle it out with the aim of raising as much money as possible for KiKa and Love Life Fight Cancer! It's a 6-month course where we actively guide participants towards an unforgettable evening with the highest possible proceeds. We have now raised almost €300,000 and many people are already ready to take up this fight again for 2024.
