On 1 January, the transition from the de Jong brothers' office in Soest to Tripolis Insight became a reality. Since then, but also well before that, we have been busy with the transition to the Tripolis Insight business model. More on that in a moment.
For years, interest-only mortgages were the logical choice. Low costs, maximum flexibility and scope to use your capital elsewhere. But that obvious choice is disappearing. Behind the scenes, banks are changing their policies. Not of their own accord, but under pressure from regulators such as the ECB and De Nederlandsche Bank. And that could have consequences for anyone with an interest-only mortgage.
In a previous edition of Tripost, you could read about Eric Minnaard's journey via Global Exploration. Based on Eric's studies, he would like to spend a day at Tripolis. This day has now taken place and Eric is happy to report on his experience below. We are always open to welcoming students and we really enjoyed having Eric spend a day with us.
During a winter sports holiday, accidents are more likely to occur than during other holidays. Winter sports are intensive: you are very active and use muscles that you normally use less. Fatigue often plays a role in this, but an accident can also be caused by someone else. In both cases, it is a serious matter and you want to be able to count on good help.

Children bring a lot of worries with them, according to the average parent. Nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to our Karina. She was 15 when she suddenly became part of my family one Sunday in 2012. The next day, I took her from Vijlen to the Bernardinus College in Heerlen for the first time. There she attended grammar school, specialising in Nature and Health (N&G), and she was an above-average student.
From 29 June to 3 August, Eric Minnaard, a student at Porta Mosana College in Maastricht, took part in the Global Exploration project in Ghana. He recently visited our office to enthusiastically share his experiences.
