Marrigje retires

I first met Marrigje in 2003. She was already working at De Jong at the time. Together with Nicolette and Marianne, she formed the secretarial team. Whenever the telephone rang, Marrigje was ready to assist clients in a friendly, helpful and professional manner.

Marrigje also has a creative side. She is a talented painter, and several of her paintings hung in the Soest office. One of these paintings has even been given a place at our current premises on Koningsweg.

Outside work, Marrigje has another great passion: dogs. She has a particular love for the Spanish greyhound, the Galgo. Over the years, she has fostered and cared for several dogs. Since last year, she has had a Galgo of her own, Payote, who has now become a familiar part of her life.

For many clients, Marrigje was the familiar face greeting them at Burgemeester Grothestraat 35. She was often their first point of contact, and clients greatly appreciated their dealings with her. Her friendly manner and commitment made people feel welcome.

One annual highlight was decorating the Christmas tree. Although Marrigje always claimed that she hated doing it, every year she managed to create something beautiful. That is typical of her: with care and dedication, she made everything special.

In short, Marrigje was a wonderful colleague to work with. We will certainly miss her commitment, kindness and good company. We wish her every happiness, good health and many wonderful new experiences for the future.
