On 1 January, the transition from the de Jong brothers' office in Soest to Tripolis Insight became a reality. Since then, but also well before that, we have been busy with the transition to the Tripolis Insight business model. More on that in a moment.
Why Soest?
In principle, it was a coincidence that the de Jong brothers' office came our way. But we went ahead with it for several reasons. Soest is located in the province of Utrecht, close to the Gooi. It has a population of 48,000 and is surrounded by forests and dunes. There is hardly any industry, so it is a clean environment. It is a short distance from Utrecht and Amsterdam and close to the A27 motorway. For me personally, there are many connections, for example because as a child I often spent holidays with my uncle and aunt in Naarden and got to know the area through them. Walking through the Lage Vuursche in traffic jams was something we had never seen in Limburg. But also because of the headquarters of Keune Haircosmetics, my mother's immediate family. It is beautiful there and the people are very pleasant. We all feel at home with our new colleagues.
New colleagues
The new colleagues themselves are still finding it difficult. They have to digest many changes, such as the vision on customer approach, the new IT environment they have to work with and the upcoming change of office location. But they are doing well and have very positive intentions to make this a joint success. And we know they will succeed. They are receiving support from Hulsberg and we have already been able to expand their team with two experienced new consultants. But people often only believe it when they see it, and for now they are mainly experiencing a lot of hustle and bustle.
New customers
It is also a change for customers. Not only in the name of the office. For example, data will soon only be able to be submitted digitally. This means that some personal contact will be lost, but unfortunately that has become unaffordable. Because if you ask for fair compensation for this, you will be rewarded with a critical attitude. We organise high-quality basic products for our customers at an acceptable price. In addition, they have access to the top team at Tripolis Business Support, where the requested customisation can be delivered. Not all customers will feel at home in the new environment, but the vast majority will. And we will reward them with quality products and excellent service.
Tripolis Academy
The Tripolis Academy starts next week. I am really looking forward to it. We will be sharing the high level of expertise we already have with the entire team by having our specialists increase their colleagues' knowledge in short blocks. It is also an opportunity for colleagues from different branches to come together, further promoting cross-pollination. This is how we work to improve ourselves every day.
