Harry Kleine
My name is Harry Kleine and I live with my wife Karin in Soest. Since completing my studies in Tax Law at the University of Groningen in 1990, I have been working in the field of tax consultancy. Occasionally with a short break or a side step, but ultimately blood is thicker than water — and so I have been enthusiastically providing consultancy services again for some time now.
I know Rob from the time we worked together at EY. We both became partners there almost 25 years ago and have remained friends ever since. I gained most of my work experience in international consultancy, including periods abroad: I worked in Tokyo for two and a half years and in São Paulo for six months. In recent years, I have mainly focused on advising smaller organisations and private individuals.
My starting point for consulting work is simple: it begins with listening carefully. Advice must be tailored to the organisation or person you are dealing with. Sometimes that involves technical details, but often it does not. Ultimately, it is about finding the most suitable solution in close consultation with the client.
Outside of work, my greatest passions are sport and photography. Sport in the broadest sense of the word: watching, but above all doing (cycling, running, gym, etc.). It's much the same story with photography: lots of reading and museum visits, but also very active myself. Among other things, I work part-time as a professional photographer and three years ago I published a book entitled Who we are: 25 portraits of successful women with a refugee background.
I also love music. As a volunteer/photographer, I am affiliated with the Cabrio open-air theatre in Soest, which allows me to combine these two hobbies in a wonderful way.
I look forward to working with you and hopefully we will meet soon.
